So guys...

But now, this has become so viral in India that I have to post this.

So what is Moto G?
Why is everyone going nuts about it?

I, from my perspective , will answer that.

Let's start from Motorola. The brand which made the first cellphone.
A reputable brand, but running in losses, sold off to Google.
Google furnished it with it's craftsmanship, and made it have a stand in the market again.
After 2 years being out of market, Motorola has finally made a comeback in Indian market with its new launch, the MOTO G.

The reason for the popularity is, Motorola has provided far more than average specifications on a price tag of a low range devices.The range in which it lies is full of overhyped low performing devices, for example, the Galaxy Core, Grand Quatro etc. The only nearest contenders to the Moto G are Xperia M and L, with same adreno 305 GPU and a better, but dual-core CPU. Many toys (you know what I mean) also have nearly equivalent specs to Moto G, but, you know, toys will be toys. So this kind of leaves Moto G alone providing such good price-to-performance ratio. The single sim international version was launched for mere $200 for 16GB. Everyone was expecting it to be costly here in India due to custom taxes, but Motorola didn't only gave a competitive price to the Moto G, launching 8GB version for 12500 INR and 16GB version for 13999 INR, but they also included extra accessories (charger and earphones) which they didn't provide with the international version.

• Adreno 305 GPU
• 4.5 inch HD IPS LCD Display
• 1 GB RAM
• 8/16 GB memory options with no expandable storage
• 5MP Camera with LED Flash and 1.3MP secondary camera
